Through the years, Building Africa has been in the forefront in support of the community in the fight against poverty.

Through our partnerships and collaborations, we have been able to deliver life impactful programmes to aid in Poverty Alleviation.

Education Programme

  • Manyuanda Primary school and community water supply project.

  • Moi Girls High School -Vokoli water supply project.

  • Rongo Warao community water supply system for primary schools water supply.

  • Mukono high school Agricultural project, in Uganda.

Agricultural Programme

  • Rongo Nyagowa women group water supply for small scale vegetable irrigation and domestic water supply (source Lake Victoria) rehabilitation required.

  • Rongo Warao community water supply system for irrigation.

  • In Uganda, the Building Africa have different types of programmes in various districts i.e in Mukono District there are three water projects for three women groups and Mukono high school Agricultural project.

  • Research proposal-use of effluent (waste water) from the city of Nairobi for the environment protection, production of fodder for cattle use during dry period, production of timber trees and forestation to fight the desertification at the edge of the city.

Water and Sanitation Programme.

  • Water supply project in Moi Girls High School-Vokoli .

  • Rongo Warao community water supply system for agriculture, domestic water supply, primary schools water supply, and cattle watering. The project when completed will serve ten (10) locations of more than 15,000 people and 30,000 animals(cattle ,donkeys, sheep, goats etc) and will cover 225 sq.km.

  • Research proposal-use of effluent (waste water) from the city of Nairobi for the environment protection, production of fodder for cattle use during dry period, production of timber trees and forestation to fight the desertification at the edge of the city.

  • St. Nicholas Coptic water supply and sanitation for a complex of more than 3,000 people of coptic denomination.

  • Post operation impact assessment and evaluation of the rural domestic water supply and sanitstion in South Nyanza district in Nyanza province of Kenya sponsored by the Dutch Government from 1984 to the year 2000.

  • Post operation impact assessment and evaluation of the rural domestic water supply and sanitation in Morogoro TZ sponsored by the Dutch Government from1983 to 1989.

Environmental Programme

  • Osodo community Environmental upgrading project at the river Sound-Miriu estuary that is prone to perennial flooding; involving need for afforestation, bridge linkage, clean water provision and health care management.

  • Kujisaidia project was presented in 2013 to a number of farmer communities in Kenya in two locations,namely Ndhiwa in Homabay county and Mwingi in kitui County.

PHEBEY PROGRAMME.

  • Cycling project in collaboration with Tripollo Cycling Club. For Youth Empowerment, Business opportunity and in so doing Poverty is eradicated and environment is maintained and better health is achieved by the communities involved. This is a multi-pillar approach and thus, the impact is enhanced.
