Education Programme in Africa.

The Education Programme in Africa promotes access to quality education and lifelong learning opportunities. By supporting initiatives such as school construction, teacher training, and curriculum development, School fees support for the orphans and the most under-privileged. This program empowers individuals to acquire the knowledge and skills they need to succeed, drive innovation, and build prosperous futures.

Building Africa started a school in Mathare, Nairobi to provide education to the children whom the parents can afford to pay. Many orphaned and under privileged, through the feeding programme we have been able to attract and retain many of these young ones. Over 2000 pupils have benefited from this programme.

Millennium Academy

In recognition of the myriad of problems facing African countries,which have resulted in most Government's inability to provide for basic human needs to their people that include:-

Food
Shelter
Health services
Education
Employment

We came together in order to find ways of alleviating some of the problems. This was to be achieved through formulation of strategies that would target the most affected people, in this regard the children living in the slums. Our target area became Mathare slums and our main focus is to consolidate resources to assist the poor, orphaned children to get education and the unemployed idle youth to be self sufficient and or get employed.

Education is the greatest aspect of self-development anyone can have. Education empowers us to be better people and helps us more effectively contribute to society Building Africa established this programme to give the people who are less privileged in the society an opportunity to gain the greatest tool to human development.
BUA has done this through the establishment and sustaining the following projects in support:
- MOI GIRLS VOKOLI HIGH SCHOOL
- MANYUANDA PRIMARY SCHOOL

These are some of the major projects that BUA has undertaken to support Education in Kenya and continues to forge partnerships to keep the projects going.
