Poverty Alleviation Programme in Africa.

The "Building Africa East Africa Poverty Reduction Programme" was established on January 1, 2001, by the Building Africa Founding Authority in collaboration with the Building Africa Executive Office and regional offices in Kenya, Uganda, and Tanzania. Its mission is to support and strengthen governmental initiatives aimed at eradicating poverty within the East African Community Member States.

The Poverty Alleviation Programme in Africa is committed to eradicating poverty and promoting social inclusion. Through targeted interventions such as vocational training, microfinance support, and community development projects, this program empowers individuals and communities to break the cycle of poverty, build resilience, promote gender equality, encourage education to eradicate illiteracy and achieve sustainable livelihoods.
